Ms. Hillencamp earned her Juris Doctor with honors from the University of Miami in 1986. She was a member of the Moot Court Board and the recipient of the Moot Court Competition Award of Distinction. During her legal career, Ms. Hillencamp has obtained significant verdicts for her clients. For the year 2000, she and her former partner obtained the 2nd largest jury verdict in Miami-Dade County, FL. – Estate of Deiperink v. Alamo Rent-a Car $ 5,220,210.00. (published in the Daily Business Review Feb.9, 2001). In 2001 their verdict in Veliz vs. Coral Gables Hospital, et al was $6,800,000.00.

For the past 18 years, Ms. Hillencamp has also concentrated on women’s issues such as a doctor’s failure to diagnose breast and cervical cancer. A doctor’s failure to recognize the signs of cervical cancer resulted in compensation to the family of $ 1,450,000.00. Ms. Hillencamp also represents victims of gynecological and obstetrical mistakes. Every case, big or small, is treated with the same level of professionalism and competency.

As a result of her extensive and successful law practice, Ms. Hillencamp has been distinguished by her colleagues who selected her as a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates.
